Your First Visit

Your first visit can last anywhere from 40 minutes to 1 hour,depending on the nature and severity of your condition.

The first consultation will involve a full case history followed by a physical examination. Gowns are provided to all patients to maintain dignity at all times.

Prior to commencement of any treatment, the chiropractor will explain the findings of the consultation, providing you with a diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan which is specific to you and will answer any questions that you may have.

The chiropractor may also offer advice about your lifestyle and will usually prescribe specific exercise/stretching /rehabilitation techniques to help manage your condition and speed up your recovery!

Will treatment hurt?

Chiropractic treatment is generally painless. You may feel slight tenderness, stiffness or tiredness for a day or so after treatment, but this is not usually long-lived.
